Woodlands Walk – Bramley Park

The Hunt Group started negotiations to buy a builder’s yard in Bramley in the Autumn of 2017, and eventually secured the purchase in 2018. This was the site of a magnificent Neo-Georgian Manor House dating back to the 1840’s but was demolished in the 1950’s. It subsequently became a home to a builder’s yard. Our intention was to recreate the old-style Manor House and reinvigorate the magnificent woodlands that surround the property.

In consultation with the Parish, we produced a scheme for 8 dwellings in the style of a single stately home, reflecting the former Bramley Park and sited on the same footprint that the original house occupied. Special attention has been paid to the grounds since Gertrude Jekyll spent 10 years of her childhood there and a woodland management plan has been drawn up to ensure the future of this magnificent site.

The accommodation will comprise 3 x 2 bed dwellings and 5 x 3 bed dwellings and is aimed at a discerning market.

We gained planning consent in February 2019 and sold the site to Natta Homes who have produced an exceptional product. All units are sold
