Broad Oak – Rye – East Sussex

We have been approached by a land owner near Rye in East Sussex, who found that his garden was now too large to cope with. We explored some possibilities with him which resulted in him instructing us to seek a consent for a housing development which would maximise the value of the land.

After lengthy negotiations with Rother District Council, we submitted a 20 house scheme which was turned down due to policy changes which we appealed and got dismissed. Taking note of these changes, we re-submitted a 15 house scheme  which was also turned down and are in the process of appealing
