This is a typical infill that should have been a relatively easy submission. However the first application was refused, as was the 2nd which we took to Appeal – and lost. The third application was successful following a small alteration to the accommodation in the roof.
This was the ‘retirement fund’ for a pensioner who had cleverly kept the plot vacant for many years and resisted all attempts to deal from a variety of builders/developers. Now the timing was right and we had the right credentials, so we managed to secure this opportunity. We had a local builder in mind and agreed the deal shortly afterwards.
