Nicola Farm – Banstead

This project started at the beginning of 2017 and, following 18 months of legal to-ing and fro-ing, a deal was signed. In 2019 we achieved planning consent for 2 x 5 bed, 1 x 2 bed and 3 x 4 bed properties.

Being a small farm to begin with, the design was heavily influenced by the local authority planning department and they were pleased with our interpretation that blended modern functionality with rural charm. The change of character is highlighted in the before and after photos here.

There was the potential of a further barn conversion, but the barn was in a condition that the Planners couldn’t reconcile the amount of work that was required before the conversion was to take place.

This development is now sold to Havensilver Homes with construction due to commence shortly.
